Artist of the Week: Jarrett Robertson

Meet Jarrett Robertson

Jarrett is a street photographer and videographer catching some of the most powerful images in 2020 during the Black Lives Matter protests and the January 6th insurrection on the US Capitol. “The abstract and surreal inspire me the most… it makes you question the norm,” says Jarrett. Protests have been a strong interest of Jarrett and as such, he makes it a priority to attend all types of protests to simply document the raw emotion and passion behind the movements.

“Ever since I was [wrongfully] arrested, I began documenting protests religiously. I am interested in the human struggle and the way it is not received by whoever is running the country behind the scenes. I enjoy capturing the true human spirit within this struggle for freedom.”

Thank you for the beautiful work of art you display Jarrett.
